The children center in Fot might serve as a hub for young migrants and human smugglers who transport them to the West, says State Secretary Bence Retvari.
There is an organised operation of human smugglers to transport unaccompanied minors from the Fot children center to Western Europe, State Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resources, Bence Retvari told M1 on Thursday. He reminded that during the last 12 months 3500 young migrants got shelter in Fót after they declared that they were underage. They carried no documents though to prove this, the State Secretary added. According to Mr Retvari the young migrants use the internet at the center to contact their relatives and acquaintances at home who pay human smugglers to take them to the West. There were migrants who even carried flyers describing in Urdu what they should say to be accepted in Fot. The origin of the leaflets is unknown but they have been possibly made by aid organisations financed George Soros, he added.
