A record-low unemployment rate and a record-high number of people in employment registered in Hungary, June 2016, reported KSH Thursday.
According to the latest data, the number of people in employment exceeded 4.3 million in June 2016. In the period April-June 2016, the number of people in employment aged 15-74 years rose by 142 thousand, to 4 million 343 thousand, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Concurrently, the unemployment rate has eased to 5.1 percent, the fifth best figure within the EU.
