Christian democratic MP thinks Brussels shouldn't decide about questions which are national competencies.
"It's unacceptable that the European Commission wants to blackmail member states with the mandatory refugee quota", István Hollik, MP for Hungary's co-ruling Christian Democratic party KDNP told a news conference on Sunday. According to the politician Brussels lost touch with reality and tries to force the mandatory quota upon the members states with increasing aggression. Mr Hollik also mentioned that Jean-Claude Juncker and Martin Schulz argued against the Hungarian quotareferendum. "Politicians in Brussels think that they can decide about a question which is not their competence", he added. "This is not the United States of Europe, this is the Europe of Nations, where national governments operate", Hollik emphasised.
