Twenty Hungarian Policemen Helps in Greece

They work as Frontex members

Hungary sent twenty policemen to Greece to participate in border control as working members of Frontex forces.

Their mission to take part in migrants' registration and other border control tasks at the Greek islands, mainly in Chios. This is the first time when Hungary sends police forces in Greece.

However, previously lots of Hungarian policemen were sent to the Greek-Macedonian border to join the Macedonian-EU border control missions. They had to protect the Macedonian borders and also to help keeping public safety in the country.
