The government and parties of Hungary offered condolences after the terrorist attacks in London and stressed the importance of responsible migration policies and strict measures against terrorism.

Hungarian President János Áder and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered condolences to Theresa May. Mr. Orbán wrote that attacks against the United Kingdom are especially traumatising for our country, as many Hungarians chose London to work or study there. Hungarians are still ready to contribute to our common security.

"The aim of the terrorists is clear, they are not afraid of a frontal attack against Christian civilisation. This is one of the numerous signs for Brussels to change its failed pro-migration policy which brought terror threat to Europe", the parliamentary group of Fidesz wrote in a statement.

The Hungarian government denounces the terrorist attacks in London, the timing of which show that terrorists want to destroy Christian culture, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade told MTI.

Hungarian opposition party Jobbik denounced the attacks and offered condolences. According to their statement the attacks prove that authorities of European countries should act even stricter against any form of illegal immigration, terrorists and the organisations who are funding them.
