Meet the culture of Székelyföld - chimney cake, pálinka and folk art at Millenáris this weekend.

For the second time, a major gastro-cultural fair is organised in Budapest at Millenáris Park, to introduce the arts and gastronomy of Székelyföld (or Szekler Land, a Hungarian-populated area in the heart of Transylvania, Romania). The festival started on Thursday, when a conference was held with lectures about the recreational tourism of Székelyföld, and it closes on Sunday. Visitors can find the original kürtőskalács (chimney cake), handmade folk clothes and even the famous Afinata, a type of pálinka made of blueberries. The patron of the festival is Mihály Varga, the Minister for National Economy of Hungary.
