Winter wheat, barley and colza reached a record yield this year, said the Ministry of Agriculture.
Harvest of summer crops have finished all over Hungary. A record of 5,1-5,2 million tonnes of wheat, 1,4 million tonnes of barley and 810000 tonnes of colza crop have been harvested this year.
Until August, farmers announced damage in 10000 cases due to natural phenomenons. Hungary secured HUF 24 bln for affected farmers.
