The Prizes for Hungarian Diaspora is actually a political message, said Vice PM Zsolt Semjen.
Officials awarded several people who helped the Hungarian diaspora life in education, public life, culture, religion, sciences and economy. According to Mr Semjen, the reason for the award’s political message is that it shows Hungary pays attention to the Hungarians living in the neighbouring countries.
