Friday, divers experience a 3,5 km long traffic jam on the M1 motorway due to the Austrian border control.
For several days, the Austrian authorities continue spot-checks causing long hour wait for car, bus and truck drivers. Currently, they have to wait about an hour in a 3,5 km long traffic jam to cross at Hegyeshalom. Officials ask drivers to continue their way via Sopron and cross the border at Nickelsdorf.
The authorities aims that border control is necessary to control and filter human trafficking form Hungary to the Eastern Austrian regions. They started spot check on 25 April.
