The Hungarian subsidiary for the German car manufacturer Opel plans to produce 650,000 engines at Szentgotthard this year, MTI reported.
According to CEO Grzegorz Buchal production could still rise next year, although it has already produced motors for 60-70 percent of all Opel cars in European market. Today, the plant is operating at new full capitacy. Last year, 511,000 engines were produced at Szettgothard.
