Due to serious chill in the recent weeks, only 2/3 of the normal cherry yield will be harvested, as the 1/3 was definitely frozen.
However, there is still no news about the exact price that people will have to pay for cherry per kg.
Some farmers' officials say that usually farmers' expense is around HUF 12 per kg, but now they would like to raise it up to HUF 200 to be able to compensate the yield deficit.
