The Hungarian defense sector is about to take on a new role as domestic defense sector is one of the most profitable industrial branches. According to Minister for National Economy Mihaly Varga, it may significantly bolster economy.
Economy outcomes of the defense sector are significant parts of Hungary's Irinyi Plan to boost economy. However, Mr Varga added, Hungary must be fully aware of its responsibilities controlling the export of dual-use items and technologies “that can be used for both civil and military purposes”. So Hungary highlights the goal to ban unlawful trade of the given products, and broaden fully legal manufacture and trade for economic increase.
