Two Hungarian Olympic athletes, Mark Papp and Eva Risztov, won the 34th Swim Across Lake Balaton challenge. Papp set up a new record.
Mark Papp swam a new record with 58.30 minutes for the 5.2 km from Revfulop to Balatonboglar.
Altogether 8223 people participated in the 34th annual challenge. The oldest one was 85 years old who actually swam across Lake Balaton for the 34th time.
