Minister Lazar Janos emphasised the importance of national pride when handing over decorations before the national holiday.
Only undoubtable performance can be the gold reserve of national pride, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office, Janos Lazar said on Thursday, when he handed over state decorations in Budapest. ”The individual performance of the best of our compatriots finally turns into a public, joint experience”, he added. According to the minister pride is a national state of a nation, the problem is with those nations who ”cannot or doesn't dare to be proud of their uniqueness” and achievements. Mr Lazar also emphasised that national cultural should reach everyone, we can't be satisfied if ”culture remains a luxury item of the elites”.
