National Competence Test in Elementary and High Schools

Students prepare for taking competence test throughout the country in over 2000 elementary and high schools.

Over 266000 students participate in the national competence test Wednesday. 6th, 8th and 10th grade students in 2636 schools throughout the country will write the test instead of their normal school day.

According to officials, the test aims to monitor students' skills and competencies with the same exercises on the test sheet. That's why some students, studying in schools with lower requirements, might find it extremely difficult.

The most students will take the test are 6th graders, the number of 8th and 10th graders will be 88459 and 87074, respectively.
