Hungary is seeking a strategic NATO-dialogue with Russia.
A planned NATO command unit is to be set up next year at Székesfehérvár, the staff will have 20 Hungarian soldiers and 20 from other NATO member states, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade said in an interview on Tv2. Regarding the relations of the NATO and Russia, he said that we need a strategy of deterrence and dialogue at the same time. Hungary and the NATO have an explicit interest in a strategic dialogue with Russia, and later a cooperation on mutual trust, the minister added.
