The influx is growing on Hungary's Southern border, according to the PM's adviser the EU needs a different approach.
The migration pressure on the Hungarian-Serbian border is constant and increasing, adviser of the Hungarian prime minister, György Bakondi told a press conference on Friday. Most of the people are attempting to illegally cross the border by damaging the fence, he added.
Human trafficking has also increased, migrants are being smuggled from Macedonia to Serbia for a 1000 euros. Currently 250-300 migrants come to Belgrade every day. Bakondi noted that the EU is focusing on integration and distribution, but the efforts to keep the migrants in their home regions are insufficient.
