Amendments are planned to broaden the foundations of economic growth and to reduce one-sided dependence, economic minister announced.
The Ministry of National Economy proposes amendments in the autumn which will provide further growth opportunities for banks, employment, businesses and and the stock exchange, Minister Mihály Varga told business weekly Figyelő. He explained that the government plans measures to broaden the foundations of economic growth, that has been driven by EU funding or other one-off factors. Hungary’s one-sided dependence on these resources should be reduced, he added.
Mr Varga also mentioned the government is considering restructuring job-creation programmes with a view to improving workforce mobility and efficiency.
