The Hungarian government is prepared for attacks from George Soros because of Hungary's migration policies.
George Soros is behind the recent criticism against Hungary, Janos Lazar, the Minister heading the Prime Minister's Office said at his weekly press conference on Thursday. He recalled that Barack Obama recently spoke in favour of immigration, and the Hungarian born billionaire Soros is one of the most important supporters of this idea. Lazar emphasised that Soros is an influential donor of both the US Democratic Party and the Clintons. "We should be prepared that George Soros will actively act against the Orban-government, which is sees as one of his most dangerous political opponents", he added.
Lazar also announced the Prime Minister Viktor Orban will start consultations within the governing Fidesz party about the election of the next head of state in 2017.
