As Laura Sarosi got her best world ranking place ever, the badminton player goes to Rio Olympics.
The Hungarian girl became famous after her fair behavior at her game against Karin Schnaase. The German player’s shoe disintegrated, and she hadn’t a spare set. It seemed Shnaase was going to give up the match, when Sarosi offered her very own extra shoe. The act was so remarkable as it cost Sarosi her Olympic dreams.
The game ended with Schnaase’s victory, so Sarosi had to say good bye to Rio. However, thanks to her world ranking place, Sarosi still has a chance to go to Brazil this summer.
