Neither the government, nor the people want to leave the European Union, says the Minister of Justice.
The purpose of the Hungarian quotareferendum is not to ask the people about their intention to stay in the European Union or not, Minister of Justice László Trócsányi told Le Figaro. He emphasised that the referendum will be about the mandatory refugee quota and neither the Hungarian government nor the public supports a referendum about leaving the EU. Mr Trócsányi reminded that Hungary openly supported the UK's membership.
