According to experts, there is an on-growing interest for learning Hungarian language. However, spreading the Hungarian culture is a “continuous challenge” as officials say.
It's a continuous challenge to diffuse abroad Hungarian language and culture, said President of the Balassi Institute, Judit Hammerstein. A guest instructors network plays a key role as they are considered to work as the representatives of cultural diplomacy.
While the interest in Hungarian language decreased in Western Europe since 1989, it increased in Asia, especially in Japan, China and South Korea.
