Boglarka Kapas clinched her third gold adding the 1500 metres free crown to her wins in the 800 metres free and 4x200 metres free. On Saturday she enjoyed a 10 second winning margin over her Spanish chasers, Mireia Belmonte and Maria Vilas while cracking the Championship record.
After clinching a convincing victory in the men's 200 metres butterfly on Thursday, Cseh took the 100 metres butterfly as well, breaking the Continental record with a sub 51 second effort.
As Great Britain took 2 gold medals on Saturday, Hungary maintainted its lead (8-5 golds) in the aggregate medal table.
