The Hungarian government was criticized for its is migration policy, but now other countries are following our example, as the mood is changing.
”By guarding its own border, Hungary is also protecting Europe's external border and does everything for the safety of European people”, Gyorgy Bakondi, the Hungarian Prime Minister's Chief Advisor on Homeland Security told the public radio. Mr Bakondi reminded that it's a historic tradition, as Hungarian has been acting accordingly for centuries.
”The importance of border protection or the referendum can't be measured by how many migrants we have currently in the country”, he added. ”The main thing is that we should respect the rules of the European Union”, Mr Bakondi noted. The adviser reminded that at the beginning of the migration crisis Hungary was frequently criticized, but the situation has changed: all European governments noticed that the mood of the people has been changing, so they started to protect themselves.
