Hungarian citizens don't have to be in Hungary to vote at the quota referendum. If they register at on of the Hungarian embassies, they will be able to tell their opinion on Brussels’ migration policy abroad.
Citizens with a Hungarian address are automatically put on voting lists, but those who will be abroad on 2 October need to register at one of 105 delegations in 75 countries around the world. The registration process is open until 24 September. As for the current numbers, 183 people have registered.
Jean-Claude Juncker may be disturbed by the consequences
According to the Hungarian international lawyer, Norbert Toth, when the European Commission’s president Jean-Claude Juncker talks about a failure to fulfill obligations, he talks about the consequences of the Hungarian referendum, not about the referendum itself, even if the vote disturbs him.
