Last Hungarian Olympic medalists arrived in Budapest by the so-called goldplane on Wednesday morning.
A total of 150 athletes, accompanists, doctors and members of the Hungarian Olympic Committee returned from Rio. The welcoming ceremony took place in the Syma Hall, Budapest.
Fans celebrated all Hungarian medalists, including swimmer Katinka Hosszu, who won three gold medals and one silver, fencer Emese Szasz, who won Hungary's first gold medal in Rio. The 19 years old bronze medalist swimmer Tamas Kenderesi was especially favoured by the supporters.
Hungary won eight gold, four silver and three bronze medals in Rio and finished 12th on the overall medal table.
