Hungarian singer-songwriter Gábor Presser is suing US rapper Kanye West for $2.5 million , according to the documents obtained by celebrity website news portal TMZ.
Presser, who is the founder of one of the most influential rock bands in Hungary LGT, said that the last part of Kanye's "New Slaves" features one of his songs, called Gyöngyhajú lány. The Girl with Pearl Hair is one of the best known Hungarian songs written by Presser when he was member of Omega. The Hungarian singer-songwriter said Kanye sent him a $10k advance to push the deal through, but Presser says he never cashed the check. He is suing the rapper for at least $2.5 million.
