Hungarian cycling routes, with the most tourist interests, will be part of an almost HUF 30 bn development project, announced the Ministry of National Development Wednesday.
According to officials, the most important routes that are considered in the development project include the one between Lake Balaton and Lake Balaton Minor, the Balaton Roundabout, the Lake Tisza Roundabout, some parts of the Eurovelo 6 route (Rajka-Domos stage, Szentendre-Budapest stage, Dunakeszi-Budapest stage, Budapest-Erd-Szazhalombatta stage) and many more.
Funding will be both EU and national based. Plus, the project will be mostly finished by 2018.
