The Hungarian government rejects the Commission's new asylum plan, Minister calls it scandalous.
The new proposal of the European Commission about a new refugee quota scheme is especially dangerous for Hungary because it concerns the country's sovereignity and the plans will invite millions to Europe, the Minister Heading the Prime Minister's Office, János Lázár told a news conference yesterday. Mr Lázár called the Commission's proposal scandalous, adding that it goes even further than the mandatory quota. The proposal, according to Mr Lázár, would also enable the member states to pick which refugees they want to integrate and this would to Europe into a big human market.
