The Hungarian League champion Ferencvaros has already been in the next round in the Champions League without playing a match against KF Skenderbeu, as the Albanian team is banned from the tournament.
Ferencvaros doesn't need to play a qualifying match against KF Skenderbeu, as the team is banned from every kind of European cups for a year, the CAS decided. The Court of Arbitration for Sport punished the club for match-fixing.
“Unfairly suspended the Skenderbeu club for one season [2016-2017] from Europe's cups”, reacted the club in a statement.
