350 exhibitors from 19 countries participates in the first edition of Sirha Budapest during the exhibition's three consecutive days, starting 9 May. Hungexpo and Sirha Budapest will host the most prestigious chef competition in the world, Bocuse d’Or Europe.
As Jerome Bocuse, President of Sirha said “the worldwide event for the food service and hotel sectors continues its international development with the first edition of Sirha Budapest” from 9 May to 11 May. The event brings together key players in the Horeca and retail industry in Hungary and Eastern Europe. Professional visitors will discover a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in the agro-food, bakery-pastry, hospitality and food service industries throughout the 20000 sqm venue.
350 exhibitors from 19 countries participates in the world benchmark event with more than ten professional contests and conferences during the three days of the exhibition. The most prestigious one will be the Bocuse d’Or Europe.
“Highlight of Sirha Budapest, this prestigious contest will feature the very best chefs from Europe and will reveal tomorrow’s talents”, added Mr Bocuse to describe the event as the perfect blend of “conviviality, innovation, creativity and business”.
Hungary is about to participate in Bocuse d’Or Europe, Tamas Szell will cook for the jury. He was the first Hungarian chef who could take part in the Bocuse d'Or Finale in 2013.
