According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, migration policy that Brussels wishes for endangers the overall safety in Hungary.
“Brussels migration policy is endangering Hungarian safety and the people of Hungary can stop this politics via the quota referendum”, he said on his TV interview Thursday. “This will be the first time that European citizens will have the opportunity to express their opinions on to what extent Brussels migration policy is endangering the unity of Europe and the countries of Europe themselves”, he added.
Mr Szijjarto also answered to worries that the might be about Huxit, that Hungary has strong political and economic interests in remaining member of the EU.
