British Telecom agreed to become a “strategic cooperation partner” to the Hungarian government. The cooperation agreement was signed on Friday.
According to the official presser, the agreement aims to go further in strengthening the cooperation between the government and BT’s service center in the country. BT has already doubled its staff in Hungary in the past two years to reach the current number of 2000 employees.
The Hungarian government contracted for supporting further education of BT employees and expanding training and qualification opportunities. On the other hand, BT renewed its promise to enlarge BT's regional center in Hungary to make more employment vacancies in the fields of technical design, information and security and other supporting services.
