The Monetary Policy Council (MPC) of the National Bank of Hungary held the base lending rate on hold at 0.9 percent at its regular meeting Tuesday.
Financial experts has forecasted the outcomes of the rate-setting policy meeting, so it hasn't surprised the markets. MPC also left unchanged the extreme fluctuations of interbank rates preventing band around the base rate.
