Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern is following Faymann's tradition of insulting Hungary.

It was an illusion to believe that the new Austrian Chancellor brings new culture to Austrian politics, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó reacted to the comments of Christian Kern. According to the Austrian Chancellor it's an illusion to believe that the issues of refugees can be solved by turning the state into an authoritarian „Führer state”, as Prime Minister Viktor Orbán does in Hungary. Szijjártó said that after previous Chancellor Werner Faymann compared Hungary to the „darkest dictatorship of the 20th century”, Kern already disappointed Hungarians by his „non-European, unacceptable” remarks.

The Foreign Minister is meeting his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov tomorrow in Budapest. They will speak mostly about the economic cooperation, according to Szijjártó.
