The Hungarian wheat harvest almost over but is set to exceed 5 million tons at the very end, reported MTI.
The given amount will about equal to last yearʼs harvest, although only 40 percent will most likely be of milling quality. The harvest will end this weekend.
Last year, Hungary harvested 5.3 million tons wheat.
