Hungarian President Janos Ader sent a telegram of sympathy to his Brazilian counterpart, Jair Bolsonaro over the industrial sludge spill in the country, MTI reports.
Ader wrote Bolsonaro that reports of the disaster have shaken Hungary, adding that the country was hit by a similar spill in 2010.
The president expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and offered Hungary's assistance to Brazil in reconstruction works.
