The Thursday announced working group on migration has got new tasks regarding Brexit and the quota referendum.
“The working group on migration will be tasked with summarising and preparing decisions on all aspects of migration, meaning it could also deal with the EU quota system, the Hungarian quota referendum and even Brexit”, said Zoltan Kovacs, the Government Spokesperson Firday.
As for the working groups's primary duty, it will prepare the legal tasks relating to the European Union summit at the end of July and to migration in general. It will also assess Thursday’s Brexit referendum and discuss the already adopted EU quota, the newly proposed Brussels quota and also the Hungarian referendum on the subject.
