The harvest is almost ended as farmers on the two-thirds of the Hungarian wine regions have already finished all the works.
A for Tokaj region, home of Hungary’s most prestigious wine, the Tokaj aszu, harvest will take longer. However, 2016 might be a great year for the well-known aszu wine, as this summer had great weather for the grapes despite some weather conditions during the late spring and the early summer.
