The Hungarian Prime Minister expects more clashes with the European Commission regarding migration and economic issues. According to Viktor Orbán Hungarian should have the right to know about the sources of financing of public personalities.
We should stop the attempts by Brussels to limit national competencies on migration issues, and defend the country's sovereignty, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in an interview to the public radio on Friday. He said that even if the detention of asylum seekers conflicts with EU policy, it's necessary due to heightened terror threat in Europe. Laws that make terrorism easier to carry out should be changed for reasons of self defense, the PM added.
According to Mr Orbán the second battle with Brussels will happen because the Commission has been increasingly interfering in economic management regarding energy prices, taxes and wages, and this tendency must be stopped.
