According to the latest report of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), the unemployment rate dropped 0.1 percentage point to six percent in Q1.
As for the exact numbers, the averaged unemployment was around 272,800 during the period of January to March, while the total numbers of working people reached 4.262 million, which is 145,000 more than last year.
The employment rate in the age group of 15–64 reached 65.1 percent. Employment of men increased with a higher amount.
