PM Viktor Orban hold talks with members of the US-Hungary Business Council (USHBC) in the Hungarian Parliament Friday.
According to PM Orban, the American companies are active in Hungary providing jobs to hundreds of thousands of Hungarian citizens. The parties agreed that the economic cooperation between the US and Hungary is a success story, which is also proven by the fact that the US is Hungary’s second largest non-EU investor.
The total investment value of the 1,600 American companies active in Hungary amounts to more than USD 9 billion. The Government of Hungary has concluded strategic cooperation agreements with ten American companies.
