Fidesz spokesman says the country is doing better now than under the rule of the socialist governments.

According to the spokesperson of the governing Fidesz's parliamentary group, the socialist governments weakened the country, but not Hungary and the Hungarian economy is strengthening again. János Halász told a press conference that during the leftist era every new year brought layoffs, tax raises and austerity measures, but in 2017 the Fidesz-KNDP government creates more jobs and eases the tax burden of the employers. He added that the Hungarian opposition still doesn't support the Hungarian entrepreneurs, as neither Jobbik, nor the socialists and Ferenc Gyurcsány's liberal party supported the lower taxes.
