Hungarian analysists discussed the prospects of the multi-speed Europe which is opposed by the Central Eastern European member states.
According to Ágoston Sámuel Mráz, CEO of the Nézőpont Group and István Pócza, analyst at the Századvég Foundation the debate about the multi-speed Europe is not settled yet, but with this model the Western member states of the EU would create an ”elite club”. Discussing the subject on the public channel M1, Mr. Pócza said that the EU summit in Rome was preceded by unrealistic expectations, many thought that it would determine the EU's future. According to Mr. Mráz Donald Tusk held an important speech in which he opposed the multi-speed Europe, after which he can't give his name to this concept.
