Security can't be sacrificed for political correctness, says security expert József Horváth.
When it comes to security policy, the European Union is like a dinosaur, it reacts very slowly, security policy expert József Horváth told Magyar Hírlap. "The happy times of peace are over", said Horváth, emphasising that terrorism reached a "new quality", the network of the Islamic State means a completely new kind of terror threat for the world and especially Europe.
Europe has turned into a "corridor" with the current waves of mass migration, and it's not a one-way street anymore as the Islamic State is actively recruiting inside Europe. Horváth said it's quite worrying that in Germany 800.000 people haven't even been registered yet. It gives a workload of five-ten years to the authorities.
"The European elites have forgotten how to talk honestly about our security though this is the number one concern of the European people", he added. Security cannot be sacrificed for human rights and political correctness, if the elites refuse to understand this, the extreme right will get even stronger, said Horváth.
