Taxation policy is a major contributor in reaching good economic results, announced Minister for National Economy Mihaly Varga at the first National Tax Consultation conference in Budapest.
“We have a new tax authority that has become capable of assisting the expansion of the Hungarian economy though its own tools”, Mr Varga said, adding that the achievements have recently been acknowledged by the European Commission, the OECD and two out of the big three credit rating agencies.
The currents results could not have been reached and future plans will be not be realizable without the proper coordination of economic and taxation policies.
