Foreign Minister Szijjarto stressed the importance of the Visegrad cooperation when calling Andrej Babis.
Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto congratulated Andrej Babis by phone on his and his ANO movement’s victory in the Czech elections, wishing him success in forming a new government, the foreign ministry told MTI.
The parties acknowledged that they share views on several important issues concerning the future of
the European Union so they could be good allies for one another, it said. As V4 cooperation is a focus of
Hungary’s foreign policy, Hungary has a vested interest in the Czech Republic having a stable government as soon as possible.
