2016 summer season has been kicked off at Heviz-Balaton Airport with arriving the season’s first Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt.
Last year, altogether 22000 tourists departed and landed at Heviz-Balaton Airport, this year’s number will climb up to 25000, according to officials.
Saturday’s charter flight carried 122 people. Upon arriving, officials said, that Hungary was very much liked among Germans as a flight destination, actually the majority of tourists in Hungary is German. And Heviz is the second favourite Hungarian destination, that’s why traffic at Heviz-Balaton Airport is most likely to increase in 2016 summer season.
