The successes of the Hungarian national team at Euro 2016 have good effects on the economy and on Hungarian soccer in general.
On a short term Hungary's successful performance at Euro 2016 can boost the economy, sports economist Ferenc Denes told Kossuth radio. The result can be measured in tenth percents and as the team is advancing, the effect will grow exponentially. On a long term both France and Hungary expect the Euro 2016 to boost the soccer industry. According to Mr Denes, some members of the Hungarian team can get into top clubs and the Hungarian soccer as a whole will have a much better reputation.
