According to data, strict rules for legal border closer are successful as the number of prohibited border-crossing attempts radically reduced.
There was not a single successful attempt as a combined result of the tightened legal border closure and the reinforced border fence, Gyorgy Bakondi, Chief Security Adviser to the Prime Minister said Wednesday. Mr Bakondi pointed out similarities between the Hungarian border zones and the container camp at Calais.
